Environment Policy

With ever increasing concerns over impacts on our environment, our Environment Policy is an integral part of our business strategy and operational methods and procedures.

We are committed to:

• Continuous improvement of environmental management systems
• Reducing emissions to avoid adverse impact
• Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and codes
• Reducing, reusing, or recycling waste where economical and
   environmentally sensible.   When these options are not available,
   we dispose of waste in the most environmentally responsible
   manner.
• Purchasing, operating and maintaining our vehicles with due regard
   for environmental issues
• Using substances, materials and plant which will not significantly
   affect the environment, and to assessing in advance the 
   environmental impact of any new work methods, materials or plant
• Being fully prepared to cope with environmental emergencies
• Encouraging suppliers and contractors to implement policies that protect the environment
• Applying the strict controls of ISO 14001:2004, ISO 9001-2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007, and carrying out audits to ensure our environmental controls are maintained.
