Sustainability
Concern for our environment has been growing since the 1970s and continues to do so, as we try to save energy and lessen our impact on the environment. After all, the built environment is an innovation legacy, so getting it right is the only option.
Green, sustainable, eco buildings are not easily defined. Opinions differ on what can be classed as green construction, but there are principles we can be guided by:
“Sustainability relates to where a building is sited, how it is designed, built and renovated, and how it is used in energy-efficient ways. It should have a positive impact on our environmental, and on the social and economic well-being of the community.”
We are committed to these principles and have demonstrated this by building sustainable properties to code levels, 4, 5 & 6.
We believe in a responsible and innovative approach to sustainable development, and we consistently strive to ensure that the buildings and assets we create will provide economically viable and sustainable environments for the communities in which we work.
