ISO 14001:2004 CERTIFICATION

Acheson has recently been awarded certification to ISO 14001:2004 (enviromental issues) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (health & Safety) The company has produced it's own Intergrated Management System which includes ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 9001:2008 and Investors in People. The latter two were awarded to the company some years ago.

Acheson consider that the Intergrated Management System is an essential part of modern management and has assited the company in improving it's management systems. Jim Pride, the company's Quality Control and Health & Safety Manager, was responsible for taking the company though the certification.

"Jim Pride has done an excellent job in taking the company thoug this process and should be congratulated" said Marcus Drysdale, Managing Director of Acheson Construction.

In summing up, the auditors said that Acheson's site controls and general management systems were of the highest quality.
