Acheson were delighted with the award of the new EasyHotel in Oxford. This negotiated contract involves the design and construction of an 180 bed hotel. Ground floor retail units, 6 duplex apartments, all infrastructure, external works and drainage are also included as part of this project.
The site is situated along one of the main roads in Oxford Town Centre, careful planning and consideration of neighbouring homes and business is essential.
To demonstrate our commitment to the Considerate Constructors Scheme, the site team recently welcomed pupils from the neighbouring Summer Field’s School where they gave a talk about the project and construction. The children had been particularly interested in the machinery appearing on site over recent weeks and were thrilled to be given a demonstration of the 360 excavator used by demolition contractor J Mould.
