Sports Hall, Parkstone Grammar School, Poole

Following our successful completion of the sports hall at Beaminster School, we were offered the opportunity of negotiating a contract to design and build the sports hall at Parkstone Grammar School for girls.

The building consists of four competition size badminton courts with adjoining gymnastic facilities, two additional changing rooms with a classroom / meeting room and link to an existing school building.

Following an impressive display of netball and badminton by the pupils, the building was officially opened by the football manager, Harry Redknapp who resides in Poole.

The building was constructed in the grounds of a busy secondary school and Acheson worked in conjunction with the Deputy Head Teacher to ensure disruption to the normal operation of the school programme was eliminated.
