Silverline Tools, Yeovil, Somerset

Silverline are one of the UK’s biggest and best known tool brands.

This exciting project involved the design and construction of new high-bay warehouse and 2 storey office accommodation for Silverline Tools and their new Yeovil Branch.

The existing high-bay warehouse was increased to double its original size providing a 16.5m clear haunch height and included a Concrete Society TR34 FM2 floor specification to suit Silverline Tools’ storage racking requirements.

The building was designed around this specialist racking system and fork-lift operations to ensure that operatives and pedestrians had efficient use of space.

The external works included a large concrete yard and parking area together with perimeter security fencing.
